felt like I'd done hours of climbing only 40 minutes into the ride; rainy - especially the descent from Ute pass; got swarmed by mosquitos when I stopped for water - inhaled some when I went to scream in frustration; didn't see another cyclist until John Kieffer in Silverthorne; went to a Thai place for dinner; super tired today and my arms were still rashy
