Notes:

late start - went to Boogies for breakfast - I was glad it was open on the holiday; met Bobby from Oklahoma but we split up once the climbing started; the highest elevation pass - lots of walking for me; really beautiful red (iron rich) mountains; Platoro was gorgeous; no veg meal options at the Skyline lodge - I had some cherry cobbler
