Description

The Tour Divide is an annual ~2750 mile self-supported bike race from Banff in Alberta, Canada to Antelope Wells, New Mexico that closely follows the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route. The 2022 route I followed was ~2665 miles, with detours around potential mud and earlier wildfires in New Mexico. This dataset includes ride metrics, photos, and notes that I took on my journey.

I carried a Garmin InReach mini satellite communicator during the trip."Dot Watchers" were able to follow my progress in real time. The data is still available here: http://trackleaders.com/tourdivide22i.php?name=Dr__Tracy_Berman

You can also listen to a summary of my trip on the Dirty Chain Podcast: https://soundcloud.com/dirtychainpodcast/episode-75-tour-divide-finisher-dr-tracy-berman?utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing

All of my rides can be found on Strava. My user name is "Tracy Berman"
