Description

10/23/2024 Synthesis media: 5 mL H2O2 (30wt%) + 15 mL water, 20 mL totally Usage of ⍺-V2O5: 200 mg Usage of 4-amino-TEMPO: 200 mg Usage of Dopamine: 100 mg

Synthesis method: First, dissolve V2O5 in the synthesis media, then transfer to a clean beaker containing 200 mg 4-amino-TEMPO (weighted in the glovebox) and stir for 20 min. The beaker was bath sonicated for 10 min, and then 100 mg of dopamine was added to it under stirring. The solution was hydrothermally treated at 140 °C for 12 hours.

10/30/2024 Repeat the procedure in 10/23/2024 but hydrothermal treated at 220°C for 12 hours.

11/4/2024 Synthesis of TEMPO-BVO as a reference: repeat the exact same procedures as the 10/23/2024 batch but without adding dopamine after sonication
