This dataset compiles images from pure titanium oxidation studies at 800 degrees C with and without a Si sputtered 50 nm film that supplement publication “Influence of a Silicon-Bearing Film on the Early Stage Oxidation of Pure Titanium,” Kathleen Chou, Peng-Wei Chu, Carlos G.
